People are in vicious cycle of proving their worth to others and God. Are you working from a servant mentality or a son and daughter relationship.
The Bible is filled with many examples of people operating from either sonship or servanthood. Mary enjoyed the intimacy of Jesus, while Martha worried about serving. (Luke 10:38-42). The prodigal son story is really about two sons, one who comes back into sonship, and one who loses his sonship because of his service. (Luke 15:11-32)

It seemed to me that of all the pictures that have come out recently, this one would be the last one I would choose simply because it is “silent.” However, much to my surprise, it turned out to be one of the most outstanding pictures I’ve seen. True, it is a “silent” film, but to simply judge it by that standard is to miss out on a completely charming picture.
